We have an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a blue chip corporation, seeks a permanent Electrical Engg candidate for their medical diagnostic devices division in New York. If interested, please forward resume with salary requirements. Must reside locally to NY. No relocation provided.

Provide direct work products related to the electrical engineering function for research and product development of diagnostic medical device products sold in a global market;
- Work alone and with the PID electronics team to ensure the quality of the electrical engineering deliverables and the timely delivery of products which meet customer needs, business objectives and strategic goals;
- Work with project teams, Systems Engineering and other PID electronics staff to ensure that electrical requirements for developmental and research products and tools are adequately determined to meet the overall system requirements, are embodied in suitable electrical architecture and meets interface requirements of other subsystems in a manner that leads to a robust, quality product that meets both the needs of our customers and the xx Diabetes Care organization in a timely and cost-effective manner. Explore and assess alternate electronic design implementations and make appropriate recommendations to other discipline team members;
- Ensure that these efforts meet FDA, IVDD, ISO900x and xx internal guidelines and standards;

The selected candidate will possess:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with six or more years of experience or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with four or more years of experience;
- Experience in the design of precision, low-power, low cost portable instrumentation utilities a mix of analog and digital technology;
- Ultra-low power circuit design techniques and its test techniques for battery operated device;
- Experience in RF circuit design, antenna design, matching and testing;
- Knowledgeable low power display technologies and interface requirements;
- Knowledgeable embedded software to specify hardware/software interfaces and negotiate trade-offs between hardware-software architecture decisions;
